Mental Health Care

The Mental Health Care Plan is a federal government initiative through Medicare. There are three eligible Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) components. Let's Play Developmental Therapy Pty Ltd can provide the Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS) services in the form of Occupational Therapy eligible for these rebates. This plan is available to both parents and children separately.

Key features:

• Child eligibility - referred by a General Practitioners (GP) for mental illness. Can be accessed by children with a co-morbid diagnosis. This includes a Pervasive Developmental Disorder (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger's syndrome, PDD-NOS, Sensory-Motor disorder), and another mental health diagnosis (e.g. ADHD, ADD, anxiety disorder, depression)
• Parent eligibility - referred by a General Practitioners (GP) for mental illness. Can be accessed by parents diagnosed with a mental health condition (e.g. anxiety disorder, depression) post diagnosis of their child
• Rebates - up to 10 individual therapy sessions total per calendar year
  
• In addition, there are also up to 10 group therapy sessions (i.e. with 6 to 10 patients) per calendar year
